Kedron Scout Group is proud to be taking part in a massive Messengers of Peace Project contribution.
Scouts from any section can take part in any community project by themselves or with other scouts, to earn this International Scout Badge.
The types of work the Scouts can do to earn this badge includes helping their grandparents, visiting an aged care home and weeding a neighbour’s garden.
They can also work together on a community project such as a breach preservation group, cleaning up a park or wetlands or being part of a clean-up working bee to prepare for the next term of scouting.
Over the September school holidays, the Kedron Joey Scouts earned their Messenger of Peace badges by cleaning up Kedron Brook. It was a hot day and they collected a lot of rubbish.
