Kedron Cub Scouts Police visit

Over 30 Kedron Cub Scouts, Leaders and parents, were welcomed to the Stafford Police Station to find out what police life was all about.

The Police Community Liaison Officer took the group on a tour of the station.  Cubs explored the interview room and found out why interviews are recorded and kept on file.

Cub Scouts also visited the BAS room to see how a breathalyser works.   The BAS room is where suspected drunk or drugged drivers are taken for further testing.

After checking out some handcuffs, tasers and capsicum spray, Cub Scouts were shown over a police car and heard the very loud siren.

After spending time at the Police Station, Cub Scouts enjoyed a treat at the local McDonalds before heading home.

A big thank you to the hard working Stafford Police Officers for their patience and answering all the Cub Scouts questions and showing them what it’s like to be a Police Officer.
